8. Consent from Candidate I hereby agree to the fact that the following terms and conditions will be applicable upon my candidature for the said program:
  1. The mandatory Master's dissertation period should be a minimum of 120 days, which can be extended up to a maximum of 180 days based on the curriculum of certain universities/interest and work requirements of both the candidates & host scientists at ICMR-National Institute of Occupational Health, Ahmedabad. No violation/interim request either from candidates or their Host Institutes/Universities regarding the minimum mandatory period will be entertained on any platform under any circumstances as decided by the committee.
  2. The candidate should follow the rules and regulations of ICMR-NIOH, Ahmedabad as applicable to research personnel.
  3. Any influence on the selection procedure or canvassing of any kind will lead to disqualification.
  4. In case any information given or declaration by the candidate is found to be false or if the candidate has willfully suppressed information, they will be liable for any appropriate action taken as deemed fit by the competent authority.
  5. The decision of the competent authority regarding the selection of candidates will be final, and no representation will be entertained in this regard.
  6. Applications incomplete in any aspect will be summarily rejected.
  7. Extension for the date of joining (after providing consent of joining) will not be granted except in exceptional circumstances, as decided by the competent authority.
